Weobley Visitor Information
Weobley is situated in rural Herefordshire. The home page of the Weobley website will tell you the history and bring you up to date.

The ‘Black and White’ Village Trail is a “trail” around beautiful countryside and the historic villages between Leominster and Kington in the west of Herefordshire containing many timber-framed black and white properties, some dating from mediaeval times.  Weobley is rightly the jewel in the crown of the black and white villages.

This section is about what you, the visitor, can expect to find when you come to Weobley.

Three pubs and three churches for a population of just 1,200 people.

We have a butcher, a locally sourced fruit and vegetable shop which has fresh fish on Friday (you might like to call ahead to reserve your fish). A grocery shop that sells newspapers and magazines in addition to a wide range of food and household items. The grocer is open between 8am and 8pm (6pm on Sunday). Importantly, it has a cash dispenser.

We have a bookshop and a Post Office - the Post Office owners also play hosts at the Tudor Guest House (B & B).  There is a pottery and a delightful little shop, The Forge, that sells all manner of exciting things as well as excellent coffee and cream teas.

The Gables Guest House and Tearooms offer not only accommodation, but super sandwiches, morning coffee and afternoon teas.  A very civilised way to spend an afternoon.  The Sal and the Red Lion pubs offer excellent food and there is a wonderful restaurant, Jules.

You can get a hair cut or shampoo, but phone ahead as they get pretty busy and if the car breaks down we have a garage that sells diesel fuel.
ONCE YOU HAVE VISITED WEOBLEY, YOU PROBABLY WON'T WANT TO LEAVE.
